Power of Tabla CD Launch

Here is a snap from the international launch of Pandit Divyang Vakil’s Power of Tabla, by Rushi Vakil and Kaumil Shah in Toronto.  This tabla duo or tabla jugalbandhi was the predecessor to Tabla Ecstasy.  This is the first tabla ensemble CD release of a Rhythm Riders group and we were so happy to share the moment with so many well-wishers.

The CD was launched by the Head of the Indian Consulate General in Toronto.

International CD Launch – Power of Tabla

The first stop on Tabla Ecstasy’s Canadian tour is Toronto.  A city that has been great to the group.  So what better place to launch Rhythm Riders’ first tabla ensemble CD?

That’s right.  October 3 is international launch of Pandit Divyang Vakil’s Power of Tabla by Rushi Vakil and Kaumil Shah.  The predecessor to Tabla Ecstasy, this tabla duo that took tabla to the center stage.

Oct 3 at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts at 6pm.  We hope you can join us!
